• Aantekeningen

  Neeltje Conijn bouwde met Jacob de Lange in 1882 het Koffyhuis Royal in Hoorn, later bekend geworden als "Het Witte Paard" aan het Keern. Ik heb een kopie van een foto toegevoegd van dit koffyhuis van omstreeks 1900. Het gebouw zou nog bestaan, maar het decoratieve balkon boven de ingang zit er niet meer aan. Het Keern vanaf "het Witte Paard" tot aan de spoorwegovergang heette vroeger Noorder Barrière.
